Natural Site

Europe's largest sand dune awaits you a stone's throw from the campsite. With a height of 103.60m, length of 2900m, and width of 600m, and 600 million cubic metres of sand, this great national attraction really is worth the detour. Located at the entrance to the Arcachon Basin, and opposite the Pointe du Cap-Ferret, it affords a unique view over the ocean and the surrounding landscapes: the entry channel (Les Passes) and the pine trees of the Landes. You'll be able to come here and admire the most beautiful sunsets you've ever seen, or fly over it in a paraglider.

From your campsite, situated in front of the Banc d'Arguin, admire the sandbar classified nature reserve.

Located at the entrance of the Arcachon Bay, it extends at low tide on 4km long and 2 km wide.
Shuttle will take you directly to this island (July and August). You can discover migratory birds and oyster farmers working in their oyster beds.

The bird Island

The island is aptly named and has an exceptional birdlife: 250 species of birds can be observed on the site throughout the year.

The Bird Island now hosts 53 "cabins" with the two famous Cabanes Tchanquées.

The western salt meadows

Starting from the oyster-farming port of La Teste de Buch, you can explore the salt meadows and freshwater marshes on foot or by bike. A landscape that changes with the seasons and the tides... something for all nature lovers. Les Prés Salés Ouest, an unusual place to discover!

Teich Bird Park is a protected natural area, set up to welcome wild birds, and encourage their observation by the public. It is located on one of the most important European migratory routes, and nearly 300 species of birds visit the 120 hectares of forests, grasslands, salt marshes and lagoons.
